Betty Paxton

Betty and her teams develop all Fresh Science content and curriculum. They work with many science experts and enthusiasts to gather some of the most compelling and unique science images available, as well as the first-hand explanations directly from the subject matter specialists.

She was the principal author and developer of one of the most successful laserdisc-based programs ever made, Windows on Science®. Betty also developed numerous technology-based products in science, math and social studies. Her twenty years of experience working with teachers and students gives her a solid understanding of how teachers teach and how learners learn. Plus, Betty has a real affinity for students enthralled by video games, television and music but who traditionally are served up concepts and facts through the printed page. (She loves playing video games, too.)
